Every parent's photos on the big screen at your banquet. And nothing up there you'd ever have to apologize for.
A live photo wall for school, team and church events. Families scan one QR code, and every photo is safety-checked before it can reach the screen.
Try it free on your next event
Hey,
I'm Ron, and I built PhotoWallz.
If you've ever run the slideshow for a team banquet or a school dance, you know the drill. Three weeks of begging parents to email you photos. A Sunday night dragging them into a slideshow. And then the event comes, and half the best moments from tonight never make it up there.
PhotoWallz flips that around. You put a QR code on the tables. Parents, kids and grandparents scan it and send photos straight from their phones. No app, no account. Those photos show up on the TV or projector while the event is happening, and the room goes nuts watching itself.
But I know what you're actually thinking, because it's the first thing every organizer asks me:
"What if somebody uploads something that shouldn't be on the screen?"
That's the right question. There are kids in these photos and a room full of parents watching. One bad photo and you're the one explaining it to the principal.
So here's exactly what happens to every photo:
- Every photo gets checked by an automated safety screen before it can go anywhere near the screen. Every plan, including the free one.
- If the check can't run for any reason, the photo waits, hidden. It does not "go up anyway." Nothing unchecked reaches the wall.
- Photos that get flagged never show. They're removed.
- Want a human in the loop too? Turn on approval, and nothing shows until you or a volunteer taps Approve.
- See something you don't like? Hide it in one tap, right from your phone, mid-event.
I'll be straight with you: no automated screen is perfect, and this doesn't replace having an adult keep an eye on the room. That's exactly why the approval switch exists. Turn it on for the events where it matters most, and you decide what goes up.
"We have kids who can't be photographed."
Most schools and leagues do. Custody orders, protected identities, families who opted out on the media release. You already keep that list. PhotoWallz is built so the person holding that list stays in charge of the screen.
- School and youth events start with approval on, on every plan, the free one too. Nothing shows until your volunteer taps Approve. They check each photo against your do-not-photograph list before it goes up.
- A photo that shouldn't exist gets deleted, not just hidden. It's gone from the event.
- Guest downloads start off, so photos aren't handed out to anyone with the QR code.
- We don't use face recognition, on purpose. Scanning children's faces is a line we won't cross. A person you trust makes that call, not a computer.
Here's the honest part: parents in that room are taking photos on their phones whether there's a wall or not. The wall doesn't create those photos. With approval on, it's the one place in the room where a person checks every photo before anyone sees it.
What your night looks like
- Before: Create your event in about five minutes. Print the QR code or put it on a slide.
- During: Families scan and share. Photos play on the screen as they come in.
- After: Every photo from the night, from every phone, in one place. No more chasing parents for pictures for the yearbook or the end-of-season video.
Built for groups that run events all year
Fall banquet. Winter dance. Spring fundraiser. Senior night. Your organization doesn't run one event, it runs a dozen. One wall setup works for all of them, and next year's volunteer gets the same thing without starting over.
The pilot offer
Here's my offer for volunteer-run organizations:
Your next event on Safe Event Pro, free. That's our $129 plan: up to 5,000 photos, the approval queue, hide controls and a 180-day window to collect everything.
Open to the first 5 organizations, for events before December 31.
What's in it for me?
Fair question. I'm not doing this to be nice.
I want two things: a sentence from you about how the night went, and permission to use a short clip of your wall to show other organizations. That's the whole deal. If you hate it, you tell me why, you owe me nothing, and I've learned something.
And yes, I'm betting that once your group sees the room light up, you'll want it at every event this year. That's what the annual plan is for. But that's a conversation for after your event, not before.
or just try a free event on your own first, no card required
